The inaugural Winterfest 5K presented by Caleres and produced in partnership with Big River Running started at Kiener Plaza and ended there as well. The proceeds benefited the Gateway Arch Park Foundation. The Winterfest 5K started at 7:30 a.m. at Kiener Plaza and had streets blocked off for the runners.
Most of the running was on the Arch grounds. The group circled back to Kiener Plaza to end the run as well. Participants received a special edition Winterfest 5K t-shirt and medal! Winners got a FREE pair of Ryka shoes and a variety of Arch goodies.
Gateway Arch Park Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to ensure the Gateway Arch, its grounds, neighboring public spaces, and attractions will be a vital, welcoming, and well-supported resource for the community and nation for generations to come.
