At least 2000 protesters marched down Main Street in St. Charles yesterday in memory of George Floyd who was killed by Minneapolis police. The protesters yelled in perfect cadence with popular phrases like: “Black Live Matter,” “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot,” “No Justice, No Peace.”

St. Charles police contacted March organizer James Jones so they could march together to protest police brutality.

It was a peaceful yet powerful protest and the message was clear: stop police brutality and racism. The protest ended around 6:50 PM.
