RUSKIN / SOUTH SHORE, FL – The Tin Man, from the 1939 movie classic Wizard of Oz, now stands along US 41 (Tamiami Trail) at the Mark McElwain Custom Exhaust shop in Ruskin, FL.
It was Mark McElwain, an amazing man and famous metal artist, who created the Tin Man out of scrap metal from old mufflers.
He even attached the missing heart the Tin Man so desperately sought out in the original 1939 movie played by Jack Haley.
Mark takes requests for custom made items as well. For example, he made a beautiful flower for a customer that will last a lifetime. He is currently building a custom shark for another client.
GIFT IDEA: If you want to give someone a one-of-a-kind gift that will not easily break and can be used as decor for inside and outside the home, call Mark for a quote at (813) 641-2171. He can make just about anything you can think of for any occasion.
