Tavolo on Delmar Loop closes permanently due to Pandemic

Tavolo Italian Restaurant on the Delmar Loop opened in 2012 and closed its doors permanently in 2020 due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Before the quarantine, Tavolo was a highly successful business owned and operated by Michael Del Pietro Restaurant Group The menu featured Italian plates, Neapolitan pies along with hand made cocktails in an industrial styled space.

Tavolo posted the following on their Facebook page on May 13 at 4:41 PM.
“Thank you all for the many years of love and support!!”

This historic building was completely redone by the family who kept everything as original as possible. Along with sidewalk seating, it came with high ceilings with wooden beams, exposed brick and a glass garage door that opened up depending on the weather. One of the luxuries of this property was its very own parking lot which is worth its weight in gold on The Loop.

The Michael Del Pietro Restaurant Group still have seven highly recommended restaurants that are currently open for business.
