Jung Hotel to include residential and extended stay, New Orleans
NEW ORLEANS, LA – The Jung Hotel, an historic icon built in 1907, is going through a complete transformation by Mcdonell Construction Services on Canal Street in New Orleans, LA.
Real Estate Developer Joe Jaeger purchased the property in the first part of 2015 and is spending $130 million for the restoration.
When finished, the 17-story, 550,000 square feet Hotel will feature hotel rooms with extended-stay options, residential apartments, a 7-story parking garage and restaurant and retail spaces on the ground floor.
Ritz-Carlton New Orleans in historic Kress, Maison building
NEW ORLEANS, LA – The Ritz-Carlton is a 5-star hotel housed in two historic buildings: the old S.H Kress Co. five-and-dime store building and the 1908 Beaux Arts Maison Blanche building on Canal Street in New Orleans, LA.
Today, rooms started at $299 and topped at $4,500 for the Ritz-Carlton Suite on the top floor.
