“Reimagine 75: Fashion with a Cause” was a fashion show with everything that had to do with the 70s: clothing, music, tie-die shirts and more. The fashion event was organized by the Salvation Army in St. Louis and presented by Ameren Corporation. It took place at The Sheldon on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 3648 Washington Blvd, St. Louis, MO in the Grand Center Arts District neighborhood.
The Chairs were Rick Norton from the Cardinals and Marty Lyons from Ameren Corporation. They had a great time and Rick had the neatest shirt that he pulled out of his closet which he still had from the 70s. I got to tell ya, just looking at them will make you smile; they are so charismatic and its contagious 🙂
The models wore original 1975 inspired-clothing by local designers which was the highlight of the night. Chelsea Haynes, Host of “Studio STL” on FOX 2 Now, was the Mistress of Ceremony for the event.
Fashion Show Judges were:
– Dirk Elsperman, Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer at Tarlton Corporation
– Matthew Anderson, Wardrobe Stylist at Nordstrom, New York
– Mary Ruppert-Stroescu, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Fashion Design Area Coordinator Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts, Washington University in St. Louis
Additional event entertainment included beats by DJ Joaquin Musick and a special performance by vocalist Sya. The critically acclaimed New York artist, Sage Gallon, actually painted a picture at the event which was given away at the end of the night. The whole event was for a good cause which was to raise money for the homeless and the disenfranchised.
