RIVER ARTS DISTRICT / DOWNTOWN TAMPA, FL – JULY 30: The Tampa Riverwalk is a scenic pedestrian trail that runs along the Hillsborough River through the River Arts District in downtown Tampa.

Along the trail you will see the Florida Museum of Photographics Arts, The Tampa Museum of Arts, The Glazer Children’s Museum and The Straz Center for Performing Arts and much more.

You will go by Macdill Park and Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. On the other side of the river you will see the old Tampa Hotel that is now the University of Tampa (UT).

The Riverwalk reaches the Channelside District as well and plans are in the making for the trail to go all the way to Water Works Park in Tampa Heights.

The Riverwalk will be extended under the Cass Street and CSX bridges on the Hillsborough River in the near future as well.
