Protesters supporting Palestine rallied in Kiener Plaza Park in front of the Old Courthouse in Downtown St. Louis, Nov. 25, 2023. It was organized by the Party for Socialism and Liberation and it went well. Special thanks to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Dept. and the traffic guards who kept us all safe.
The suffering of the Palestine people from hands of Israel and its people is unmeasurable and needs to stop.
The term “occupied” refers to a situation in which a foreign power controls a territory that is not its own. In the case of Palestine, the West Bank and Gaza Strip have been under Israeli military occupation since the 1967 Six-Day War. This means that Israel has control over the Palestinian territories, including their borders, airspace, and water resources. Israel also has a large military presence in the occupied territories, and it regularly conducts military operations there.
The occupation of Palestine has had a devastating impact on the Palestinian people. It has led to the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their homes, and it has restricted their freedom of movement and access to basic services. The occupation has also been linked to the rise of poverty, unemployment, and inequality among Palestinians.
“The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything.”
― Albert Einstein
The international community has repeatedly condemned the Israeli occupation of Palestine. The United Nations has declared it to be illegal under international law, and the United States has called on Israel to end the occupation and withdraw its military forces from the Palestinian territories. However, Israel has defied these calls and has continued to maintain its control over the occupied territories.
This will all come to an end soon now that the world knows. Israel and the US will come to terms that they are wrong when they practice genocide to a people, a culture, a race that is already held captive in their own land. FREE FREE PALESTINE!!!
