DOWNTOWN TAMPA, FL – AUG 18: The Platt Street Drawbridge (Bascule) that travels over the Hillsborough River was built in 1902 and rehabbed in 2012 in Downtown Tampa, FL.

The Platt Street Bridge has a pedestrian walkway that connects the Bayshore Walk to the Riverwalk path. The bridge is a popular spot for photographers, as well, for skyline shots of Tampa as it reflects off of the Hillsborough River.

Platt Street Bridge ends at the Channelside Drive Tunnel that goes underneath the Tampa Convention Center.
