Parkway Middle School Steppers dance team performed at the 13th Annual Sista Strut Breast Cancer Walk in St. Louis on Saturday, October 1, 2022 in downtown St. Louis. It was clear skies and beautiful with a slight chill which made it a perfect day to walk.
iHeartMedia of St. Louis continues its commitment to the African American community and had the amazing BJ the DJ as the MC for the event. OH…he got us all in a happy-dance frenzy while he led us in the Wobble dance, a nice warmup before the walk, I might add!
“For the past 12 years the Sista Strut Breast Cancer Walk has heightened awareness about the issues of breast cancer in women of color, as well as provided information on resources and saved lives of women in our community.
