PADUCAH, KY – The Paducah Ambassadors are a wonderful group of volunteers that donate their time and energy to make visitors and residents alike feel welcome at events, river cruise arrivals and departures, ground breakings and much much more.

They are known as the Red Coats. And with a smile and a warm heart, they will answer any questions you may have about Paducah.

Today a small group of Red Coats were at the departure of the American Queen interacting with everyone that passed by.

The temperature was around 93 degrees but that didn’t stop them from cordially talking to visitors and residence like us that are new to the city.

When the American Queen departed from the banks, the Red Coats started waving. Their cheerful, audible goodbyes along with big waving gestures were contagious, prompting others to joined in on the celebration as well.

We wanted thank you, Paducah Ambassadors, for your warm greeting. You truly blessed our hearts.
