DOWNTOWN TAMPA, FL – JULY 30: Nations Bank Park (Kiley Garden) features a peaceful setting that is dog friendly. There are sculptures along with an amphitheater with seating and a checkerboard landscape designed by the late Dan Kiley.
The metal sculptures, permanently set in concrete, were created by local artist of the Tampa Bay area.
The concrete amphitheater at Kiley Garden is one of the three stages used in the Gasparilla Music Festival, the other two being at the Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.
The park’s landscape features a checkered theme with alternating grass and concrete across the entire park. It was designed by the late Dan Kiley whom is considered one the best landscape architects of the 20th century.
