The Cherokee Street Jazz Crawl 2021 featured Miss Jubilee and the Yas Yas Boys at Yaquas Pizza restaurant on Cherokee Street in South St. Louis, MO and the people loved it while others watch all the fun including dancing in the streets. This was the best block party I have been to since the pandemic.

It was so nice to see others out and about on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. It gave us all hope that maybe one day things will be normal once again.

To the north of Cherokee Street is the Benton Park West neighborhood and to the south is the Gravois Park neighbor both diverse and rich with culture.

For all you camera geeks out there like me, I used an old used Cannon SX 710HS pocket camera and a Insta360 One X2 action camera to create this video. The quality is not really good but they do the job especially when you have to walk, dance and run after parades and the like.

Band Members of the Miss Jubilee and the Yas Yas Boys:
Valerie Kirchhoff – Vocals
Ethan Leinwand – Piano
Richard Tralles – Upright Bass
Ken Cebrian – Trumpet
Ryan Calloway – Clarinet
TJ Müller – Plectrum Guitar, Banjo, Trombone

I love this band 🙂
