We’ve been searching for a good fish sandwich since moving to Florida 5 years ago. The Fish House in Ruskin is one of the best we’ve had and the portion size was more than enough! Fish and shrimp have light non-greasy batter and are fried to perfection. 14 shrimp to a regular order and 21 shrimp to a large order is not a skimpy meal. Sides of fries, coleslaw, baked beans and grits are all tasty. The place is nothing fancy and you walk up to the window to order but the staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Will definitely go there again.
They are giving smaller and smaller orders. When we first started going there was great. Tonight we ordered 2 large dinners and they were both smaller than the regular size. To sum up we won’t go back after this.
Sure wish I could buy online gift certificates. I have been pushing folks to try you out for years, and when they do they love you. It is easier to talk them into it when I pay for their meal. 🙂
