NEW ORLEANS, LA – SEPT 20: Mardi Gras Parade Route signs with parking information and street cleaning times are permanently placed on street light poles along Canal Street in New Orleans, LA.

This particular one is front of the historic U.S. Custom House that once held Confederate soldiers prisoner during the Civil War when the Union Army occupied New Orleans for a brief period in 1962.
