Kirchhoff’s Bakery & Deli first opened in 1873 by Franz Kirchhoff. The bakery closed for a stint but Louis Frank Kirchhoff, great-grandson of Franz, decided to carry on the family tradition by reopening the bakery in the fall of 1997.
The bakery still uses old family recipes along with high quality ingredients to make their artisan breads, sandwiches, pastries, soups and salads. The eatery is considered one of the best eateries in Paducah holding mostly five star ratings on their Facebook page.
