Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responds to 80,000 calls anually

SUN CITY CENTER, FL – The Hillsborough County Fire Rescue Station 28 (HCFR) is one of the 42 stations in Hillsborough that responds to more than 80,000 calls a year.

HCFR started as an all-volunteer force in 1950s, and in 1973 the county started hiring career firefighters full-time. more at hillsboroughcounty.org
