SOUTHSHORE/RUSKIN, FL – Gannon University in Ruskin is offering a “new Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program with the first class of students anticipated to be enrolled in the Summer of 2015,” University President Dr. Keith Taylor said during a press conference.

Gannon leased 17,000 square feet in the Minto Communities Sales building for classrooms at 105 Commercial Center Drive next to Bob Evans off of SR 674.

A new campus is going to be built on a three-acre plot next to the Minto building that was purchased for 1.45 million by the University.

More graduate level programs in the health sciences will be added as more classrooms become available.

Gannon University in Ruskin is a satellite campus of Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania and will maintain the same high-quality education at the new Ruskin campus as well.

The University researched the country and found that Hillsborough County (where Ruskin is) is the fastest growing county in Florida and found Florida to be one of the fastest growing states in the country as. more at gannon.edu/News
