WIMAUMA, FL – There were two cars involved in an accident at the intersection of State Road 674 and U.S 301 at 2:40 pm on Monday (November 10, 2014) that close the intersection down for a few hours in Wimauma, FL.
One car went off the road hitting a light pole and a roadway sign. The light pole fell on some power lines that caused a power outage in the area.
Employees at the entrance of Walmart were turning people away since they had no power. It was a little before five when the electricity was fully restored in the area.
Tampa Bay Times reported that no one was injured in the crash, no DWI’s or DUI’s were issued but charges are still pending. details at tampabay.com
