Duckweed Urban Grocery, Channelside (opens)

CHANNELSIDE / TAMPA, FL – The new Duckweed Urban Grocery store is now open on 12th Street in The Place at Channelside, a residential apartment complex in the Channel District of Tampa, FL.

The new Duckweed Urban Grocery is a small 2000-sq-ft grocery store but fully stocked with everything one might need: meats, raw milk, eggs, dairy, veggie pops and locally-made artisan chocolates from nationally renowned William Dean Chocolates!

The first Duckweed Urban Grocery was 2.5K square feet that opened at The Element apartment high-rise on June 25, 2013 in downtown Tampa, FL.

– building permit was issued by the City Of Tampa on Nov 20, 2015 to William Jason Murray Contracting Inc. to renovate units 1102-1103 for the new Duckweed urban grocery store.
– Opened March 15, 2016

This is a locally owned business and it would be a kind gesture to visit them if just to say hi.
