Dog Friendly Rootwad Park at old Laclede Power Co. Downtown St. Louis

Rootwad Park is a hidden park located at O’Fallon and Lewis Streets at the vacant 1901 Laclede Power Company building. The building was purchased by Union Electric Power and Light in 1907 and was a working power plant for until the 1940s. Rootwad Park is nestled in the Riverfront Trail that runs all the way to Chain of Rocks Bridge.
