City of Tampa Postcard mural by Carl Cowden along Florida Ave

DOWTOWN TAMPA, FL – JULY 21: The City of Tampa postcard was commissioned by the Public Arts Program and painted as an 18’x30′ mural by Carl Cowden III on the PP+K Advertising Agency building at the corner of N. Florida Ave. and Royal St. in downtown Tampa, FL.

Drivers traveling on Florida Ave, a one way street, get a full view of the colorful artwork as they pass by.

The background of the mural shows Hillsborough River with the individual letters containing snippets inside that represent Tampa.
