RUSKIN / SOUTHSHORE, FL revised Dec, 2015: The old Checkers Drive-In Hamburger Restaurant opened just before Christmas on Sun City Center Blvd next to Hungry Howie’s in Ruskin, FL.
Checkers was closed on Christmas Day but Burger King and Denny’s in Sun City Center were open and very busy.
