PADUCAH, KY – LIVE on the RIVER was the name of this year’s Independence Day Celebration that was held on July 4th in beautiful downtown Paducah, KY.

The video features the beginning and finale of the fireworks along with a brief view of the Paducah Quick-Step Cloggers dancing in the middle of Broadway. They were all line dancing in unison, in perfect step with the music. It was such a joy to watch.

The Community Large Scale Project was in full swing around 8:30 p.m. with a long line of participants ready to make their mosaic mark on the canvas. The project is organized by the Paducah Parks and Police Departments now in its third year. The name of the project is called:

“A Paducah Patchwork-Bringing People Together”

I wanted to personally thank Sue Clark of Fox Briar Inn for making this video possible. And thank you Kyle for the water. It was much appreciated. I had such a wonderful time.

PADUCAH, KY – I went to the Boss Burrito Mexican food truck for lunch at the Check n Go at Hinkleville and 23rd and ordered the $7.99 burrito with beans, rice, lettuce and tomatoes. It was delicious.

The burrito was huge measuring over 7×3 inches. I am a big eater and was almost unable to finish it due to its size. The burrito was authentic Mexican so it was a lot more spicy than Taco Bell.

The three staff members were working non stop during lunch with a wait time at just around 6 minutes.

Please give them and try to help support locally owned businesses. Follow Boss Burrito’s locations at

PADUCAH, KY – During the Enduro Derby a car named WD40 flipped with two people inside who were not injured and had an inspiring comeback to boot.

The crew helped get the two safely out of the overturned vehicle and flipped WD40 back on its wheels to continue the race.

The Enduro Derby is an annual event that was held this year on Saturday, June 24th. It was part of the McCracken County Fair 2017 held in Carson Park in Paducah, KY.

Camera used for this video was the Canon PowerShot SX710 HS – price it at

Enduro Derby is defined as demolition derby meets mud track racing and is very exciting to watch. There are no classes, teams or rules; it’s every man for himself.

It was only $5 dollars: $2.00 for parking and $3.00 for the race. It was a blast.

The people of Paducah are the nicest people in the world including the men and women in the Sheriff’s Department.

So if you are ever in town during the month of June, head on down to the fair and have an experience of a lifetime.

PADUCAH, KY – I lost my wallet at McCracken County Fair’s Enduro Derby last night that’s basically a rubber band around my credit card, money, license and business cards.

Like most people, I was a complete wreck. Shortly after getting home, while calling the bank to cancel the card, I got a call from Deputy Greg Garrison informing me that he had found my wallet. He listed all the contents and everything was there. I can’t tell you how relieved I was.

I just wanted to formally thank you Greg for finding my wallet. Please thank the other gentlemen you were with for me as well. You guys are the coolest!
