Paducah’s Lower Town Arts & Music Festival 2018 and the beautiful people that attended…
The Annual Lower Town Arts & Music Festival in Paducah, Kentucky is a two day celebration that features its rich culture with food, music and art in a six-block area in the Historic Arts District of Lower Town.
Friday evening, a bit after 8pm, Nora Jane Struthers and her band were performing? Incredible. The photos below were taken just before and during her performance.
The yearly festival is made possible by local sponsors, grassroots artists and nonprofits. There were donation boxes with a suggested $1 donation at the street entrances but it wasn’t mandatory.
I wanted to thank you all for letting me take your picture and being so kind. Even though the meetings were brief, I will always cherish them.
PADUCAH, KY – A Flood Warning was issued on February 24th for Paducah and Western Kentucky by the National Weather Service.
On Sunday, February 25, the City of Paducah declared a State of Emergency and began installing 14 out of the 23 floodgates along the Ohio River. The rest of the gates will be installed on March 2-3.
VIDEO: Early Sunday morning I was able to get some photos of the riverfront before the crews started working on the floodgates.
By midday Downtown was bustling as people gathered from all over to watch this enormous city-wide operation go like clockwork. Local 6 News was on site getting the facts while others held up cellphones to get personal footage of this historic event.
