Ace Hotel New Orleans coming to 600 Carondelet St

NEW ORLEANS, LA – Ace Hotel New Orleans is opening in mid-2016 in the newly renovated 1928 building at 600 Carondelet Street in the Warehouse District of New Orleans, LA.

The 234-room Ace Hotel will include a rooftop swimming pool, restaurant and bar. Portland Oregon based Stump Town Coffee Cafe has signed a leased in the mixed-use hotel complex.

Carondelet Partners LLC, a subsidiary of Domain Companies, purchased the property in 2013 for $5,450,271 from Central Properties Of LA, LLC according the Orleans Parish records.

NEW ORLEANS, LA – The Nopsi Hotel with a bar and restaurant may be coming soon on 317 Baronne Street in New Orleans, LA.

Erik Wismar, owner of REJV8 Baronne LLCpurchased the property for $11,600,000 in January of 2015

Wismar attended The Central Business District Architectural Review Committee’s meeting at City Hall on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at City Hall to talk about the plans to renovate the existing hotel building.

The renovation project will include the NOPSI and adjacent Dryades and Gold buildings. The plans call for 217 guestrooms, bar, restaurant, main lobby, ballroom, meeting rooms, pool and a ninth floor open deck.

Wyndham Garden Hotel purchases Palace Theater, New Orleans, LA

NEW ORLEANS, LA – The owners of the Wyndham Garden Baronne Plaza Hotel purchased the old Loew’s State Palace Theater at 1105 Canal Street in November for $3.5 million on Canal Street in New Orleans, LA.

LC Hospitality Group LLC, registered to Chen Horng Lee and Chin Li Lee, bought the property on Nov. 17, 2015 according to records at the Orleans Assessor’s Office.
