Arcadia, Florida’s Historic District has a Norman Rockwell feel

ARCADIA, FL – Arcadia City has a classic Norman Rockwell feel and is famous for its historic district that is filled with antique stores and small mom-and-pop shops the run along the streets.

There is an old fashion ice cream parlor that makes their own ice cream and  there’s Wheeler’s Cafe close by that hasn’t change much since opening in Arcadia  back in 1929.

The Historic District in Arcadia is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The population in Arcadia was counted at 7,637 in the 2010 U.S Census and has an area of 4 square miles. (video by my1serafina)
