PADUCAH, KY – Apartments and a 3rd Street Bar will still be going into the building that partially collapsed at 3rd St. & Kentucky Ave. in downtown Paducah, KY.
PADUCAH, KY – A future two-story mixed use building partially collapsed early Sunday morning (Feb 25, 2018) at the corner of 3rd Street and Kentucky Avenue in downtown Paducah, KY.
Crews were at work putting up support beams and cleaning up material that fell from the building. The entire intersection was completely blocked off with yellow tape that read Fire Line Do Not Cross. First Responders were on site while construction crews worked throughout the day.
MP Lawson was contracted to take the front of the building down that will take place during the week. The intersection will remain closed today and will reopen tomorrow on Feb 26, 2018.
PADUCAH, KY – The two-story building with Fabric Shop painted in big green letters on a yellow background at 3rd Street and Kentucky Avenue is in plans to be completely renovated in the downtown section of Paducah, KY.
The second floor is slated for residential units and the first floor may become another 3rd Street Bar.
GHOST SIGNS: There are more ghost signs on this particular building than any other building in downtown Paducah.
