This video features a few short time-lapse clips with camera settings displayed on the screen for future reference. The camera used was a Sony A7 set on MANUAL mode, enabling control of exposure time, aperture F-stop, and ISO.

LONG EXPOSURE EXPERIMENT

  • VARIABLE: Exposure time was the variable in this experiment that was set at 4, 5 and 8 seconds.
  • CONSTANT: F-stop fixed at F/14
  • CONSTANT: ISO fixed at 100

THE OUTCOME: The long exposure times (4-8 secs) at night created long colorful light trails from cars driving down Beach Blvd next to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Biloxi, MS.
