SOUTHSHORE/GIBSONTON, FL – CrossFit Apogee is a 5,000 square foot CrossFit training facility that opened in 2013 on Big Bend Road in Gibsonton, FL.

CrossFit workouts are scaled to match individuals age and physical ability. The workouts are high-intensity movements done within a group environment, a community – if you will – that supports and encourages one another throughout the sessions.

The exercises vary from power lifting moves to push-ups all done at a rapid pace. See the various exercises performed in this popular CrossFit YouTube video.

The results of these fast-pace workouts are summarized within the company name, Apogee, which is defined by Merriam Webster as the highest point in the development of something.

CrossFit Apogee is located at the intersection of 7100 Big Bend RD and 13100 Kings Lake DR. in the Kings Lake Center strip-mall.

  1. Hi, there are some inaccuracies in this post that I’d like to correct, but I can’t find contact info for this site.

CrossFit is a trademark of CrossFit Inc. This is one of our affiliate gyms, so they’re allowed to use our name. However, CrossFit is not owned by Reebok. We have a contract with Reebok that allows them to make shoes and other apparel for us under the “Reebok CrossFit” banner, and they currently sponsor the CrossFit Games, but that’s it. This gym is a “CrossFit training facility” not a “Reebok CrossFit training facility.

Additionally, I noticed that sometimes our trademark is properly capitalized and other times it is not. Would you please be sure that both the “C” and the “F” in “CrossFit” are capitalized every time our trademark appears?

Thanks, and please contact me if you have any questions.

    Best,

    Derek Fields
    CrossFit Inc.

    1. I sincerely apologize for the mistake and I can’t thank you enough for the correction. I took out Reebok all together to be on the safe side. Your gym is really awesome along with your website. I got inspired looking at the gym and reading and watching videos on your site. With deep appreciation, Craig
